About PRDCI
|
|
 |
|
The
Panay Rural
Development Center,
Inc. (PRDCI)
takes its roots from
the regionalization
program of the Philippine
Peasant Institute (PPI)
that paved the way for
the autonomy of its
provincial centers,
officially called Rural
Development Institutes
(RDI).
RDI-Panay
(previously known as
PPI-Panay) was among
the first provincial
centers to acquire legal
personality when it
registered with the
Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC) on
July 15, 1996.
The autonomous
RDI’s bonded together
and formed a national
network called the Philippine
Network of Rural Development
Institutes, Inc. (PhilNet-RDI,
Inc.) |
PRDCI intends
to continue with its active
and direct participation
in the process of Rural
Development and Democratization
(RDD) in partnership foremost
with marginalized rural
sectors and peoples, their
communities, and organizations,
and to carry out the following:
|

 |
implement
programs and facilitate
services and support that
will enable organizations
of MRSP attain self-reliance
and greater participation
in the process of RDD;
establish strong stakeholders’
organizations that will
serve as key players in
management of local resources.
