Badiang and Guinobatan are located about five and ten kilometers north of the poblacion of New Lucena, respectively. Canauili and Pangilihan, on the other hand, are located about 13 and 15 kilometers northwest of the poblacion of Janiuay, Iloilo.

New Lucena and Janiuay are two of the six project municipalities of PRDCI located within the Magapa-Suague River Basin in Central Iloilo. New Lucena is about 20 kilometers, and Janiuay is about 33 kilometers from Iloilo City. Both towns can be reached by private or public utility vehicles, although Canauili and Pangilihan may require tougher vehicles like four-wheel drives during the rainy season. There are tricycles regularly plying Badiang and Guinobatan from the Poblacion, rain or shine.

Guests are advised to prepare to get muddy and wet, and should wear the appropriate attire and footwear. Home-stay options are available for those who would like to interact longer with the communities. Proper coordination should be made.
